Our Approach

to deeply engage with PQCHC’s leadership team through a series of tailored one-on-one coaching sessions and group facilitation workshops. These sessions were meticulously designed to navigate difficult yet crucial conversations, fostering a profound understanding of various cultural perspectives.

    • One-on-One Coaching: We delved into personal interactions, focusing on enhancing communication skills and understanding in a multicultural context. These sessions were pivotal in equipping each team member with the skills needed to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics.
    • Group Facilitation with IDI Assessment: Utilizing the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) as a foundational tool, we crafted workshops to strengthen the team’s cultural competence. The Technology of Participation (ToP)® methodology was employed to ensure inclusive and effective team collaboration.
    • Impact on Community Relations: The learnings were directly applied to enhance PQCHC’s engagement with their community. We focused on building empathy and inclusivity, aligning the team’s service delivery with the needs of their diverse client base.



The Impact

The impact was a significant transformation in how the PQCHC team interacts internally and serves its community. We observed a substantial improvement in empathetic communication and cultural understanding within the team. This internal change had a ripple effect, enhancing the quality of service and engagement with the community, and solidifying PQCHC’s role as a beacon of inclusive and empathetic healthcare provision.
