I read Richard Rumelts best selling book, ‘Good Strategy/Bad Strategy: The Difference and Why It Matters’ years ago and it was brilliant.
“The Crux” came out in May 2022 and has been on my to read list. I recently listened to a podcast episode from “Strategy Skills” by FIRMSconsulting.com where Richard Rumelt was a guest and I was reminded of his brilliance, so this book got pushed up the list in my to read pile.
Richard Rumelt is one of the world’s most influential thinkers on strategy and management. He is Professor Emeritus at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, and if you are working in strategy, I highly recommend following his work.
